Officially a 5-Star Community!
Once again we are bubbling over with pride for our staff and employees! Carillon House, our rehab and skilled nursing facility, was recently honored again with a 5-Star Quality Rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Of 16 skilled nursing facilities in Lubbock County certified to participate, Carillon House is one of only two that received five stars—the highest rating possible.
CMS is an independent organization, and their rating system provides potential residents and patients with information about the quality of services and care they can expect from any given skilled nursing facility. The ratings serve as an integral tool that can help families and caregivers compare facilities more easily so they can make important decisions with confidence.
“The 5-star rating confirms our community’s ongoing commitment to residents and patients; their goals are our priorities,” Pam Roddy, administrator for Carillon House, says. “We are very proud to give families the peace of mind that comes with knowing their friends and family are receiving outstanding care.”
Carillon House’s 5-Star Quality Rating means we achieved excellence in the areas of health inspections, staffing and quality outcomes. The rating process included an examination of 180 different aspects of care as well as on-site visits by a trained team of objective surveyors who analyzed quality of care, reviewed medical records and interviewed residents.
This 5-Star Quality Rating is the result of around-the-clock hard work and dedication from our staff and employees. As part of Carillon’s LifeCare Community, residents and nonresidents alike enjoy access to the excellent care available at Carillon House.
Marsha Sharp, former women’s basketball coach at Texas Tech University, had this to say about her experience at Carillon House: “When mom needed rehab after surgery, we chose Carillon House because they had the team with the most experience and the best record.
